For those applications requiring hand operation and wide opening jaws, the HM1800 series can be supplied in this HOD version. This machine is fitted in standard form with a 6 mm element enabling production of a tamperproof security coded seal, but an optional narrow element can be supplied for reduced sealing times on thicker materials not requiring the embossed code. Dual time control enables both heating and cooling cycle time to be adjusted for different materials and the hold down catch (HOD) releases the operator during the 3-7 second sealing cycle, to prepare the next pack.
